City of West Columbia postponing its August Council Meeting, revised sanitation schedule released, along with road closings link

Due to inclement weather, the following closures and schedule changes have been made:

  • City Hall will close at 2 PM on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
  • The City of West Columbia is postponing the August Joint Public Hearing and Regular Council Meeting until August 19, 2024.
  • City parks remain closed, and the City will notify the public when the parks will reopen.

  • Bark West Dog Park
  • Carraway Park at the Riverwalk
  • Douglas Reeves Community Park
  • Fowler Community Park
  • Rosamunda Percell-Butler Community Park
  • West Columbia Riverwalk Park and Amphitheater
  • Moffatt Street Entrance to the Riverwalk

Sanitation:
Please secure your roll carts. Due to the weather, there will not be any yard trash routes run on Wednesday, August 7. Thursday and Friday Household Garbage, Recycling, and Yard Trash Routes will run on schedule at this time.
