City of West Columbia Honored at 2024 IFEA Pinnacle Awards for Meeting Street Music Fest and Kinetic Derby Day

The City of West Columbia is excited to announce that the Meeting Street Music Fest and Kinetic Derby Day have been recognized with prestigious honors at the 2024 International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) Pinnacle Awards. The awards were presented on Sunday, September 29, during the IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Ceremony at the IFEA Annual Convention & Expo in Pittsburgh, PA.

The Meeting Street Music Fest was awarded:

  • Gold – Best Promotional Poster (attached)
  • Gold – Best Promotional Billboard (attached)
  • Silver – Best Event Website, www.meetingstreetmusicfest.com
  • Bronze – Best On-Site Décor (Large MSMF Logo props) (pictured below)

Kinetic Derby Day was recognized with a Silver Tie in the category of Best Video Promotionhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPbkIENvves.

Sponsored by Haas & Wilkerson Insurance, the Pinnacle Awards competition celebrates the creativity, innovation, and operational excellence of festivals and events worldwide. Entries came from globally renowned events, including the Alaska State Fair, the Dublin Irish Festival, Musikfest, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, and Vivid Sydney.
