The City of Cayce will begin work on a sewer line repair at the intersection of 12th Street and Lafayette (“L”) Avenue on Monday, October 12.

The repair will be from manhole to manhole within the roadway across 12th Street. Traffic will remain open during the work, and the crew members will be on-site to provide traffic control measures. Traffic flow may be down to one lane per direction, at times. Cayce Utilities and Cayce Police Department are advising drivers to proceed with caution and detour around this block when possible.

The work will be performed during the day, outside of peak morning and afternoon times.
Residents will continue to have access to their driveway throughout the work schedule.
The work is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.
