The City of Cayce Beautification Council presented its Quarterly Beautification Award to the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Tuesday, at 1006 12th St. in Cayce.

Colleen Bradley of the Cayce Beautification Council presented the award to Eddie Richardson of the Lexington Development Corporation, which is housed in the building . Butch Wallace, a C-WC Chamber Board Member, accepted the award for the Chamber.

Chamber President and CEO Tim James noted that the building was once the site of the R.H. Smith library. Smith, who was in the lumber business, funding the building of the facility in 1960.
