The Mt. Hebron UMC United Methodist Men , Pineview Ruritan and Cornerstone Church of West Columbia hosted a fundraiser for Eddie Porter on Sept. 4, at the Pineview Ruritan Club. Plates included 1/2 BBQ chicken, green beans and corn on the cob.

There were 740 plates sold and the proceeds go to help pay Eddie’s medical bills, said Gregg Pinner of the Pineview Ruritan Club.
