Christmas in Cayce Festivities Offer Three Unique Events, beginning Nov. 30
The magic of Christmas returns to the City of Cayce for the 2023 Christmas in Cayce festivities! On Thursday, November 30, the City of Cayce will light the Christmas Tree at 6 pm at Cayce City Hall. After the tree lighting through the end of the year, Cayce citizens and visitors can drive through the Cayce City Hall campus to experience more than 35,000 Christmas lights and the City’s 22-foot Christmas tree at no cost!
November 30: City of Cayce’s Annual Tree Lighting, 6 pm
This year’s Cayce Tree Lighting Ceremony will feature students from the Busbee Creative Arts Academy Band and the Riverbank Elementary School Chorus. The Woman’s Club of Cayce will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items, before and after the tree lighting, for Cayce Cares. These donations will be used to benefit God’s Helping Hands and the Scooter Scott Project to be given to local families in need. The Woman’s Club will also be accepting donations for tree light memorials. All donations received by November 26th will be included in the Tree Lighting Program. December 1: Carols Along the Riverwalk, 6 pm – 8 pm
Beginning at 6 pm at the N Avenue Entrance of the Cayce Riverwalk, the sounds of the holidays will flow through the woods as local musicians perform along a half-mile of the Cayce Riverwalk. During this cherished reverse caroling event, the Riverwalk will glow with luminaries and free refreshments. This year’s music will be performed by:

December 2: Christmas Traditions: Olde & New, 6 – 9 pm
Christmas Traditions: Olde and New will be a night for citizens and guests to explore the Cayce Historical Museum’s historical attractions. The museum will be open for all to see our exhibits and trees decorated by local community groups. Live musicians spread holiday cheer throughout the building and Santa’s Workshop. This year’s entertainments include a lantern tour presentation of Christmas traditions through the last 300 years of Cayce history, a European-style Christmas Market, and a demonstration of traditional trades at Christmas. The caboose and REO Speedwagon firetruck will also be decorated for family selfies. Light refreshments will be available at our 1749 kitchen.
