The Lexington County Fire Service, EMS and the S.C. Highway Patrol are on the scene of a vehicle versus building call in the 500 block of Chisholm Way, in Lexington County. The crash was reported by Lexington County about 10:15 a.m. Friday

A vehicle left the road and collided with the home. A child playing in the living room of the home was struck by the vehicle. The child was treated by Lexington County EMS and transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

LCFS Special Operations are stabilizing the structure, so the vehicle can be removed.
