Cayce-West Columbia Lions collect Toys for Tots, seeking volunteers

The US Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots campaign is collecting toys in West Columbia.

The program provides donated toys to local boys and girls before the holidays. You can donate toys at Mooneyhan’s Auto Repair, 1224 B Ave
in West Columbia and Ricky’s Tire and Auto, 1534 Sunset Blvd., West Columbia.

Toys for Tots collected 26,822 toys in 2018 and supported 7,612 children for Christmas.

Also, the Toys For Tots campaign and the are looking for “A Few Good Volunteers” to help with distribution for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.

Volunteers are needed to distribute toys from Dec. 16 thru-20. The toys will be distributed to families from a distribution center (between Belks and Dave-Busters) in the Columbiana Center, in Harbison.

Volunteers can commit to just a few hours or the full week, whatever works with your schedule.
