The Cayce-West Columbia Lions Club collected more than 100,000 pairs of prescription eyeglasses.
The Lions clean and recycle usable eyeglasses. Broken glasses are processed in a “scrap to cash” program for revenue to fund local community projects. All public donations, 100 percent, collected by the Lions Club are used for charitable causes. No donations go for administrative expenses.
