The Cayce-West Columbia Dixie Youth Baseball team represented South Carolina at the D2 Ozone World Series, in in Ruston, Louisiana. The World Series run ended Monday.

South Carolina – the State Champion- fell to Texas by a score of 7-6. Before losing, SC had wins over Louisiana, Florida and Texas. Monday’s loss to Texas was SC’s second loss. The team loss to Tennessee on Sunday.
