The Cayce-West Columbia Ozone Dixie Youth Baseball team is the State champ. C-WC defeated Saluda, 2-1, Friday in extra inninngs to win the championship. The state tournament was played in Moncks Corner.
With the win, C-WC will move on to play in the Dixie Youth Baseball World Series in Ruston, LA. It is July 27-thru-Aug 2.
C-WC also defeated Saluda 7-5 in a game earlier in the day on Friday. Other wins in the state tournament were against Bamberg, Andrews and Lower Florence. (C-WC DYB Photo)
