Cayce-West Columbia Chamber Board issues Brookland support letter

Brookland acerage
Property where Brookland would be built.

The letter (below) from the Cayce-West Columbia Board of Directors was issued, by Chamber CEO Gregg Pinner, Friday afternoon:

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce, I would like to express its support for the Estates & Companies proposed Brookland Development in the Meeting & State Street area.

The Board believes the team at Estates & Companies has proposed a project that supports the City of West Columbia’s vision for a vibrant, pedestrian friendly area that will enhance the Riverwalk experience. Brookland will become the area’s only true commercial district with easy access to our beautiful Riverwalk, which draws citizens from all around the Midlands. The Board also believes that this project will be a huge catalyst for future commercial growth in our area and will only enhance the quality of life for it’s citizens.

The Board encourages the West Columbia City Council to approve the proposal on January 20th.
