On a beautiful sunny, Saturday morning the sound of children laughing and the sight of beaming moms and dads was abundant. Cayce-West Columbia and and Pineview Dixie Youth Baseball held opening season ceremonies for the upcoming youth baseball season.

Wilson Howard Park, behind Northside Middle School and Riverbank Elementary, is the home of Cayce-West Columbia Dixie Youth Baseball. Pineview Dixie Youth is played at the Pineview complex of baseball fields off of Methodist Park Road in West Columbia.
