The Cayce-West Columbia All-Star 15-Under Dixie Youth Boys baseball team won the state championship on June 30. C-WC defeated North Charleston in the state tournament’s championship game in North Charleston.

With the win the team will represent the state of South Carolina in the 15-U World Series. It will be held in Louisiana starting July 19.

In the State Tournament in North Charleston, C-WC defeated Lexington, Dentsville before beating North Charleston twice to take the championship. The team also had a loss to North Charleston in the double-elimination tournament.

In the World Series South Carolina (or CWC-All Stars) will face Florida in the first game. The 2023 World Series for the 15U division will be held at the Sterlington Sports Complex in Sterlington, Louisiana. The team plays its home games at Wilson Howard Park in West Columbia.
