There candidates have filed to run for the District One Cayce City Council Seat.

Those candidates are Tiffany Aull, Tim James and Megan Lightle, according to Mary Brack, Director of the Lexington County Registration and Elections office.

The election for the office is Tuesday.

Tara S. Almond, the current District One representative, has resigned from council. Her term is set to expire in November 2021.

Cayce City Council, in the past, has held its municipal elections in even-numbered years. But those elections were moved to odd-numbered years in 2019, like other Lexington County municipalities.
