Cayce presents 3 Nature in the 12,000 Year History Park events, Saturday

Nature in the Park is scheduled for Cayce’s 12,000 Year History Park on Congaree Creek, Saturday. It includes three programs to identify the birds and wildlife that exists in the area by the Congaree River.

The Bird Watching Trail Walk begins at 10 a.m. at the Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center (1120 Fort Congaree Trail.) it last until 11:30 a.m. 139 species of birds have been reported at the 12,000 Year Histroy Park.

America The Wild is from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on the second floor of the the Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center. It is presented by Riverbanks Zoo Educational Services and includes live examples of local animals.

Night Watch is from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. It begins in the Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center parking lot. Its focus is on nocturnal animals. The program is guided by a S.C. Wildlife Naturalist.
