Cayce Police Sgt. Jarvis Riley was honored, Monday, as the South Carolina Association of School Resource Officers (SCASRO) Law Enforcement Administrator of the Year Award.

This prestigious award recognizes Sgt. Riley’s outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to setting the standard for excellence within the Cayce Police Department’s School Resource Officer Division. His efforts have had a positive impact on both the City of Cayce and Lexington School District Two, fostering strong partnerships and helping ensure a safe and supportive environment for students, staff, and the community.

In March 2024, Riley received the Setting the Barr Award at the Cayce-West Columbia Chamber Business Breakfast. The Setting the Barr Award is in honor of Cayce Police Officer Drew Barr who lost his life in the line of duty in Cayce last April.
