The Cayce Police Department continues to investigate an attempted assault that occurred in Guignard Park on Knox-Abbott Drive early Friday morning. Officers are patrolling Cayce’s communities, following up on every lead, Police asks that the community continues to be vigilant and provide any information to law enforcement they may have, including surveillance footage, ring camera footage, or anything you saw or heard.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:

• At this time police are looking for a light-skinned black male, who at the time of the incident, was wearing all black clothing and a red mask covering half of his face.
• It is believed the suspect is younger; possibly in his early twenties.
• Police continue to work with law enforcement partners and are thankful for the support from SLED and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
