Cayce Police Officer Drew Barr’s funeral is scheduled for Thursday. Barr was shot and killed in the line of duty early Sunday morning. Austin Leigh Henderson, 36, shot Barr. Henderson later killed himself, said police.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. at Batesburg-Leesville High School, 600 Summerland Avenue, Batesburg-Leesville, SC, 29006.

The funeral service is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Batesburg-Leesville High School.
Graveside services will be held immediately following the service at Mt. Ebal Baptist Church located at 5 Lion Loop, Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina 29006.

More information, including the circumstances, regarding the shooting of Barr is expected today at a news conference by Cayce Police.
