Friday night, officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, according to the Cayce Police Department, on an individual who operated a vehicle while speeding and suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI). As officers were attempting to affect the traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle disregarded officers. However, the driver was eventually stopped, resulting in criminal charges for Failure to Stop for Blue Lights, Trafficking Cocaine, Distribution of Crack Cocaine, and weapons charges.
