The Cayce Police Department is processing evidence related to a fatal Hit and Run that occurred on Frink Street around 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Witness statements and tips we have identified the suspect vehicle that struck and killed Mr. John Wesley Butler, 64, who was a Cayce resident.   Click here for a link to the initial report

During the preliminary investigation there was a report of a dark SUV being involved. It was determined that this SUV was not the vehicle that struck the victim but a sedan that will have front end/center of the hood and under carriage damage attached picture) that will have front end/center of the hood and under carriage damage.
