The Cayce Police Department is actively investigating a vehicle hit and run which left a Cayce man dead.

At approximately 6:30 p.m, in the 1200 Block of Frink Street, a man was walking when witnesses state they saw an SUV type vehicle strike him and flee the scene toward Charleston Highway. The Cayce Police Department and EMS responded to the scene. Investigators from the Cayce Police Department, trained in accident reconstruction, are interviewing witnesses, reviewing video surveillance footage and collecting evidence from the scene.
