A body was found early Tuesday morning in the Hunter Mills neighborhood off of Emanuel Church Road, near Platt Springs Road, in Lexington County.

Cayce Police units and EMS responded after the the body was found outside of a home in the subdivision around 7:15 a.m. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) was also on the scene. Cayce Police said there is no reason to believe there is a threat to the community.
