Cayce Police Department issues June Traffic Data Report – asks if public wants to report areas of speeding or other traffic concerns
The Cayce Police Department made 216 traffic stops in June and issued 202 citations and 92 warning. There were 4 DUI arrests and 117 citations issued for speeding.
The new law against using a phone while driving resulted in 12 Hands-Free Citations.
The CPD also issued this statement: “Is there an area where you’ve noticed speeding or other traffic concerns? Drop it in the comments below. We’ll make sure our Traffic Enforcement Unit is aware so they can evaluate the area for directed enforcement.”
