Cayce kicks off schedule of Christmas events, Thursday

This event is hosted by The Woman’s Club of Cayce and includes greetings from city officials, holiday thoughts, musical selections, and a visit from Santa. Proceeds from the sale of lights for the tree will be donated to God’s Helping Hands. The Woman’s Club is also sponsoring the Cayce Cares food drive and asks that participants donate non-perishable food items. This event will include a community reception and is free to the public.

Beginning December 3rd and running through the end of the year, visitors can take a ride through the Cayce City Hall complex and enjoy the magic of thousands of twinkling lights, dazzling holiday displays, and music of the season.

26th Cayce Historical Museum Christmas Traditions

The sights, sounds, and tastes of Christmas will abound at the Cayce Museum’s 26th annual Christmas Traditions Holiday Open House. With the help of many volunteers, each room in the Museum will be decorated with trees and crafts from the 18th to the 21st century. This open house will also feature live entertainment, docents dressed in period attire, and light refreshments. Also starting at 6:00 p.m., as darkness falls, there will be living history encampments on the Museum grounds and displays celebrating the long and important role Cayce plays in the history of the South Carolina Midlands.
