In the early morning hours of Saturday, Cayce Fire Department C shift members responded to reports of a residential structure fire.

Firefighters arrived on the scene of a small single family dwelling with smoke and flames showing. Rescue 501 stretched a hand line and began extinguishing the blaze as Tower 501 crew members began a primary search of the residence. Mutual aid from West Columbia Fire Department County of Lexington Fire and Ems arrived on scene to assist.
