The Cayce Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a residential structure fire in the 1800 block of Charleston Highway, Wednesday afternoon.

American Red Cross disaster-trained volunteers are assisting the family.  The Red Cross is helping two adults by providing financial assistance for food, clothing, lodging and other essentials, and comfort kits containing personal hygiene items.
