The Cayce Department of Public Safety arrested a man, Monday, for shooting a firearm in the 2200 block of Taylor Road.

Evan Michael Vermullen, 22, has been charged with discharging a firearm in the city limits, and discharging a firearm while intoxicated.

There were 12 calls to 9-1-1 reporting the incident.
Vermullen was  detained without incident and there were no injuries, according to the Cayce DPS.
