The City of Cayce District One Councilwoman Tara Almond has been elected as President of the Lexington County Municipal Association (LCMA).

“It is an honor to be elected to serve in this position. It is through the collaboration and sharing of information among our Lexington County Cities and Towns that we grow in knowledge so that we may better serve our communities. Strong and vibrant cities contribute to the overall prosperity of Lexington County,” stated City of Cayce Councilwoman Tara Almond.

The LCMA is made up of mayors, council members, and administrators from the 14 cities and towns in Lexington County. City of Cayce Mayor Elise Partin also previously served as president for the LCMA.

In addition to serving on Cayce City Council, Tara is also a former Chairman of the Cayce Board of Zoning Appeals. She owns a local small business, Almond Accounting & Tax, LLC and has over 30 years of experience in accounting.
