The Cayce Action Group will hold a Life After Loss – Increase the Peace – forum from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on May 4 at the West Columbia Riverwalk Amphitheater. Addressing the problem of gun violence is a focus of the forum. Link to Cayce Action Group page

Pictured is Mr. Daeun Mercelis Odom who tragically lost his life to Gun violence at the age of 14 on July 31, 2021. Mr. Odom was set to Attend Brookland-Cayce Highschool as a freshman. Mr. Odom was a Stand out athlete with WC Tigers from age 8-12 yrs old. Mr. Odom also played JV football for BC High school while only a 7th grader Busbee Creative Arts Academy Middle School. He was murdered by a 16 yr old that was suppose to be his Friend on Osage Ave in the City of West Columbia.
