Mercelis Odom and the Cayce Action Group delivered more than 70 turkeys and food boxes to those in need in the community, Saturday. Odom is the president of the Cayce Action Group.

“We’d like to thank Rev. Danny Swilly and Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Cayce for allowing us to host the year Turkey Box Giveaway,” said Odom. He also thanked the dedicated members of C.A.G, and Mrs. Michelle Franklin, for making a difference in the community. The C.A.G. also distributed the turkeys and food boxes last year.

Donors included State Rep. and Senator-Elect Russell Ott; Tyler Helms; Perfecto plumbing; and Michael Williams. “We appreciate you,” Odom said.
