Person had to be cut out of the car after crash on St. Andrews Road, Monday

Irmo Fire units were on the scene of a vehicle accident with injuries in the 500 block of St Andrew’s Road near Ashland, around 2 p.m. Monday. One person had to be cut out of the car. Several lanes of St. Andrew’s were blocked by emergency vehicles. The scene was cleared eventually.
