Minor injuries reported by Irmo Fire District after I-26 crash, Tuesday morning

Irmo Fire District was on the scene of a vehicle collision before 8 a.m., Tuesday, that was blocking lanes of I-26 westbound at the Piney Grove Road exit. The exit was blocked temporarily. Only minor injuries to the pickup driver were reported. The tractor-trailer was parked on the shoulder when the wreck occurred.
