Gray loses first game of the 2A State Championship Series in baseball

Gray Collegiate lost to Oceanside Collegiate, 1-0, Saturday at the Midlands Sports Complex in Pine Ridge.It was the first game of the 2A baseball championship series. The second game in the best of-three series is scheduled for Tuesday at Oceanside. Game three, if necessary, will be at a neutral site on Saturday.

Brookland-Cayce wins 1 game, loses another as baseball playoff run ends

The Brookland -Cayce baseball team came within one game of the finals. The Bearcats needed to win twice at Hanahan Friday to qualify for the State Championship series.The Bearcats won the first game, 5-2, but lost the second game 3-1.
