Spirit Airlines kicked off its service from Columbia with its inaugural fight to Newark Liberty International Airport – EWR, Thursday. Later on Thursday afternoon a Spirit flight left for Orlando International Airport (MCO.) On Friday, Spirit begins service to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.Spirit is the fifth airline to fly out of CAE.
