Davis Early Childhood Center gets “Biscuit” books from Golden State Foods

Davis Early Childhood Center for Technology students got a copy of “Biscuit Goes to School.” The books were provided by Golden State Foods, said Davis Principal Dr. Cecil McClary. Darwin McDonald also presented book bags filled with school supplies from Golden State Foods.

Cayce’s Congaree Bluegrass Festival at 11 a.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday

Airport travels to Midland Valley, Friday, and BC plays Pelion at home

Brookland-Cayce hosts Pelion Friday night in its home stadium in Cayce. Pelion is 0-5 and the Bearcats are 4-1. BC will honor and recognize the Brookland-Cayce football team from 1966 that was crowned State Champions. Airport travels to Midland Valley for a 7:30 p.m. game. Midland Valley is 2-3 and Airport is 1-4.
