Lisa Comer defeated Emily Hinson in the Lexington County Clerk of Court race. Comer won by 127 votes according to the preliminary count. Comer received 6,698 votes to 6,571 votes for Hinson with 100% of the precincts reporting. The two women were in a run-off election held Tuesday.
