Fatal motorcycle accident reported in Lexington County

According to Lance Cpl. Matt Southern of the SC. Highway Patrol, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, traveling north on Fish Hatchery Road near Pelion, ran off the right side of the road. The motorcycle hit a culvert, throwing the rider off. The driver died at the scene, according to Southern. The driver was not wearing a helmet. […]

Swansea man identified as victim in Fish Hatchery Road accident

Harris was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the accident.  An autopsy will be performed Thursday. The accident remains under investigation by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
