West Columbia Riverwalk Park, Amphitheater reopens

The West Columbia Riverwalk Park and Amphitheater, 109 Alexander Road, West Columbia is opening back up to the public on noon, Thursday. But please avoid any areas that have been set off by cones. Riverwalk had been closed due to flooding.

Missing couple found safe

Lexington County Sheriff’s Deputies were searching for a man and woman after the couple never returned to their assisted living facility Tuesday night. But the couple has been found safe, in Horry County. Ronald and Mary Denny have memory issues and take daily medication for other conditions.

Woman takes out several mailboxes before running into ditch

A collision in the 300 block of Park Road had the road closed in Lexington Tuesday. The collision site was cleared, according to the Lexington Police Department. The collision was caused by a driver losing control of her vehicle, striking several mailboxes and driving into a ditch.
