Crash closed Sunset Boulevard Friday afternoon

The Lexington Police Department was asking motorists to use alternative routes if possible, Friday afternoon, after a collision on Sunset Boulevard at Hope Ferry Road. The crash had all outbound lanes blocked around 3:30 due to an overturned vehicle. Emergency personnel was on hand assisting all parties involved.

Crash blocks road in Lexington

A collision occurred at Sunset Boulevard and Old Cherokee Road, Tuesday in Lexington. All inbound lanes were blocked. Traffic had to be diverted onto Old Cherokee Road. Emergency personnel was attending to those injured. The road was later opened.
