Plane crashes into Lake Murray

A small plane carrying two passengers crashed into Lake Murray after having engine trouble around 1:45 p.m., according to the LExington Sheriff’s Department. The crash happened near Taylor’s Cove Road in Gilbert. Neither passengers sustained any injuries. This is all the information available at this time. (Debi Lafayette photo)
