It was a beautiful December morning in South Congaree, Saturday, and the crowd turned out for the Town’s Christmas Parade. Around 80 units, including the Airport High School Marching Band, Nativity scenes, motorcycles, queens, Mayor Cindy Campbell, dance groups, a Mountain Dew drinking camel, and Santa were a part of the festivities. Lexington Police respond to 3-car crash that resulted in injuries

Lexington Police responded to a collision on Sunset Blvd (US-378) at I-20 Saturday afternoon. The crash resulted in an inbound and an outbound lane being closed while the site was cleared by emergency crews.All lanes were reopened by 5 p.m. The three car wreck with injuries was caused by a driver disregarding the traffic light.
