Donald Merckle-Blacksmiths w/ Mississippi Kites heat up Riverwalk, Sunday

Donald Merckle and the Blacksmiths played the CMC Steel Rhythm on the River Concert Series, Sunday.  The  Mississippi Kites played the opener. CMC Steel Rhythm on the River Concert Series is from 2- 5 p.m. at the West Columbia Riverwalk Amphitheatre. It was the second of six shows at the Riverwalk, on the Fall Concert Calendar.

The Airport Eagles traveled to Richland Northeast Friday night in high school football action. Richland Northeast defeated the Eagles by a score of 48 to 13.  The loss drops Airport to 1-4 and RNE improves to 4-1.
