Personnel from the Irmo Fire district were busy tending to an overturned vehicle in the 5600 block of Wescott Road, Thursday morning. The road was blocked for a while because of the incident.

Only one car was involved. After striking a tree the car landed on its roof in the middle of the road. Airbags and seatbelts and the injuries were minor.
