Car hits motorcycle in Lexington, 2 taken to the hospital


All lanes of Hope Ferry Road in Lexington have reopened after the debris from a wreck was cleared from the road. The Lexington Police Department reported the crash just before 3 p.m. Saturday.

The collision was caused by the driver of a car failing to yield the right of way when turning onto Hope Ferry Road. The car struck a motorcycle.

The driver and passenger on the motorcycle were transported to the hospital from the scene by EMS due to their injuries. The driver of the car was not injured. (LPD photos)
