Deputies from the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department are looking for a man who is accused of shooting a person.
The shooting occurred, witnesses said, Saturday near Old Dunbar Road and Hwy 321 in Lexington County. The man was last seen running toward Edmund Highway.
Detectives believe the suspect flagged down and approached a vehicle then held the occupants at gunpoint. One person was shot.
Victims in the car told investigators the suspect is about 5’11” with an average build. They said he was wearing jeans and a dark gray hooded sweatshirt
The gunshot wound is not life threatening.
