From the Cayce Department of Public Safety – At 1 PM Monday a collision occurred in the 2900 block of Charleston Hwy.

A red Mercury was traveling south on Charleston Hwy. when a black van crossed the roadway and struck it in the side.

The Mercury left the right side of the road and struck the McDonald’s causing property damage. There were no patrons in the vicinity at the time of the collision. Multiple patients were transported from the scene but have since been released with no injuries. Lexington County Fire Service was also on the scene.
