All lanes of Stoneridge Drive in the Woodcreek neighborhood near Augusta Road (US-1) in Lexington were closed for a single car collision, before 10 a.m. Tuesday. Police asked drivers to detour in and out of the neighborhood from Morgan Drive to Wood Cut Drive while first responders were on scene.

All lanes of Stoneridge Drive were reopened and the wreck was cleared from the road. The collision was caused by a driver trying to avoid hitting a dog that ran into the road.
