Cayce’s Mayor Pro Tem, Tim James has been selected to serve on the Board of Directors of the SC and NC Chamber Executives. He was selected last week, at the Carolina Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.

James was selected and appointed by his peers to a three-year term.

In October of 2023, The Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce won the highest honor when it was selected as the Chamber of the Year by the Carolina Association of Chambers.

When the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce achieved the prestigious honor of Chamber of the Year, James assumed a one-year appointment. James commented “being involved over the last year with peer professionals from North and South Carolina has helped our CWC Chamber prosper in many ways, I feel our community gains much expertise through the involvement.

Lindsey Miles, Chamber Chair agrees, stating “our Chamber Board unanimously voted to support Tim in the position of Board member with CACCE, as we recognize the huge return on investment we receive because of his networking with executives from South Carolina and North Carolina, and enjoy watching him help mold the future for Chambers across both states.

James previously served as the Director of the Cayce Department of Public Safety. He has two daughters; and he and his wife, Gay, live in the Cayce Avenues.
