Fifteen students from Busbee Creative Arts Academy attended the South Carolina Speech and Theatre Association’s (SCSTA) Middle School Festival Competition on Feb. 8 at Meadow Glen Middle School.

LeAnna Flynn, Busbee’s Theartre Arts Teacher said, “Our young actors represented Busbee very well!  They performed well, and they enjoyed seeing students from the other schools perform. It was a great experience. And we brought home a few trophies!” Trophies brought by BCAA included: Third place in duet acting (Joseph Young and Logan Ard), Second place in Group Acting (Lucy Greiswell, Shannon Hagins, D’Aisha Edwards, Sam Yeargan, and Tyler Harris). BCAA student, Bryce Pridgen,  also made it to finals in Solo Acting.
