For the second year in a row Dillon stopped Brookland-Cayce’s playoff run.
The Wildcats defeated the Bearcats 42-7, at Dillon. BC had four turnovers in the game and starting QB Reed Charpia suffered a sprained ankle and did not play most of the game.
Dillon moves on to the 3A State Championship game at Williams-Brice Stadium next Saturday. Dillon improves to 14-0 with the win. BC falls to 9-5. The loss ends BC’s season.
